Professions? Empty Professions?

SO, i was trying to figure out what professions i should level on my Paladin, i got 2 in mind, but im honestly not sure if they are even worth leveling seeing as im prot as mainspec

ALCHEMY -> Pretty Useful to be fair, amazing healing trinket, i havn't got a CLUE about the tanking one, havn't seen it yet
BLACKSMITHING -> Cant think of a reason to get this, further then some epic patterns, pretty fucking expensive aswell
ENGINEERING -> Amazing Sunwell Headpiece, wouldnt mind rerolling engineering for this, not quite sure though
TAILORING -> Useless as far as i know
ENCHANTING -> Gonna get this as a second profession for sure, those 24 spelldmg on rings are neat
LEATHERWORKING -> Drums, really viable as a prot paladin? probs gonna be in tanking group whenever im raiding, not really much point in drums? i mean i could be all wrong, on the other side, whenever im needed as Holy i guess it would be alright to have drums
JEWELCRAFTING -> Trinkets/Unique Gems arent all that bad, still dont see it being better then Leatherworking or Alchemy

So i guess its gonna be either Alchemy/Enchanting or Leatherworking/Enchanting, Engineering/Enchanting, anyone got some idea's? suggestions?

drums arent worth it for u mate, not at all, tho u slightly benefit if one goes in ur group, its not worth u rolling LW

blacksmith is mediocre, only decent thing wud be the breastplate, if it didnt have a 30mins cooldown Razz

enchanting for sure, awesome for TPS, with u there,

alchemy is a TPS trinket tbh, spell damage think the tank one is defence on equip, which u shouldnt need, so i would go with Engineering with Enchanting, the unique gems arent worth rolling a profession for mate, u'd get 2 extra dmg on a 12 dmg and 3 extra stamina...once u got those u'd drop JC for something else anyway, though the engineering heads are rare, perhaps alchemy might be worthwhile too, alc/eng +ench =win Very Happy

the jewelcrafting trinkets are also very nice, the epic ones from sso are quite good imo... i was considering dropping tailoring on my priest to get JC.. if only it was such a hassle to level up.
the problem with anything but enchanting is that the special items become obsolete quite fast.
