European Organization for Nuclear Research = Cern and today they plan to try to recreate what happened in after the big bang. This experiment is potentially very dangerous and COULD (but prolly won't) explode and kill a lot of people or do unknown damage beyond anything we could imagine. Although it was not launched until 8am on the 10th of september. The first victim of the blast can be found here.
